It's around 3 in the afternoon on Saturday...after having just awoken from Hard Candy...I'd have to say that there were goods and bads to the event...I'm not being bitchy...I just wanted to tell you what the party was like from a concious ravers point of view.

GOODS...
-the location was sick....haven't been to a werehouse in a long time...
-the laser was incredible...best fx EVER...
-the speaker setup was boomin'...although my ears are still ringin...

BADZ...
-the music...I hung in there to see Dj Efex's set but the wackness continued...the music was way to hard and fast from the get go for there to be any kind of progression through out the night....It was also not very groove-oriented...I only remeber a couple of tracks that actually got me up and on my feet...At one point I almost went to sleep...
-the vibe...good music=good vibes...bangin' techno might work in the midwest or the east coast...but that doesn't seem to work in LA.

A side note...the only two parties that I have ever gone to that have actually caused permanent damage to my ears was: your party during skylabs set at the Ivar theatre and last night...Get a engineer that knows how to properly set up sound...I don't really want to wear ear plugs at your parties so come on...

Although I left in the middle of dan's set...I wish I could have stayed to hear Mr. Annand...he always rocks it with really good trance...and he is also a very good substitute teacher :)...I think you guys have the potential to do really good things...that's why I keep going...but the music lagged this time...
